My name is Marewa Paranihi. I have been working as a contract Analyst/Programmer since April 2001 and am currently based 20 minutes south of Hamilton. 
 
I specialise in MS Access Database design and development. I designed my first database using Access 2 in 1995 and have used all versions since.  
 
My main strength lies in Microsoft Access database analysis, design and development. I also use MS Excel extensively as a reporting tool by connecting to existing data sources and have developed many stand alone MS Excel applications. 
 
In 1998 I attended the Eastern Institute of Technology in Taradale and attained a Diploma in Business Computing. I passed with distinction, which requires a 95% or better pass in at least 30 of the required 36 modules, and was also awarded a special Best Overall Student Award. 
 
Although I was intending on following on to degree level I was offered permanent employment as a programmer and decided this was a better path for me. 
 
I am available for contract work large or small.  
 
My current rate is $75 per hour plus GST.
